Hey there, I’m Laura. I’m a connoisseur of cookies who loves a good greeting card.
Whether you believe in Cosmic DNA or the MBTI Personality Test, Laura Goldfarb Falls is truly an enthusiastic innovator, always seeing new possibilities in the world around her. Laura is warmly known as the "Big Kahuna” of music public relations firm Red Boot PR, a company she started in 2009. Red Boot was awarded “Best PR For Indie Artists” by Examiner.com in 2014, and received the 2016 Best of Venice Award in Media & Entertainment. She's also been interviewed by Hypebot, TuneCore, Bridge The Atlantic, and featured in Examiner.com’s “Women In Entertainment” series. For the last three consecutive years, Laura was an official speaker and mentor at the SXSW Music Conference and Festival. In 2017 she was given the LA Music Critic Icon Award. Flowing through Laura’s PR and radio work is her truest art form: writing. She’s written every press release, pitch email, e-newsletter and biography for Red Boot, every episode of Jam Session and their accompanying promotional materials, as well as feature stories and interviews for Relix Magazine, Elmore Magazine and the Sonicbids blog for their “Ask A Publicist” section. Laura is also a registered songwriter with BMI, collaborating with artists to write songs for film and television. Some of her notable placements include on the USA Network's SUITS and the 2016 film starring Jessica Chastain, Miss Sloane.
Following the 2017 Women's March on Washington, Laura took up the mantle of Community Manager for Atlantic Records artist MILCK, whose song “Quiet” went viral at the march and became known as the unofficial anthem of the movement. Laura interfaced with the global #ICantKeepQuiet community, and was the point of contact for MILCK’s social impact related appearances and performances (i.e. Women's March, Women In The World Summit, Fortune Most Powerful Women Next Gen Summit). She and MILCK partnered with Revolutions Per Minute to launch the artist’s philanthropic fund.
